London Tourist Info

London is one of the top tourist destinations in the world, so we’re well used to welcoming travelers from all over the world. It’s also Europe’s most populous city with over 8 ½ Million people living and working within the Great London Area, which takes up a large portion of South-east England. Made up of dozens of interlinked small towns and villages, each area of London has its own identity and culture. Bloomsbury is full of leafy historic Georgian Squares and is right in the centre of London.

Being a tourist in London is easy, and the St Athans Hotel being right in the centre of London makes it easier still. There are many bus routes as well as 4 tube stations and 3 mainline stations within walking distance, as are many of the large attractions, shopping and theatre districts. We recommend you use the Citymapper mobile phone App to help you get around the city (a bit like Googlemaps but better), which can be quite confusing if you’ve never been here before.

Our receptionists will try to be as helpful as we can with any of your questions but for the professionals there are three Tourist Information Centres nearby – at Euston station, Kings Cross/St Pancras International and Holborn.

Open top Hop-On Hop-off bus tours stop just around the corner from the hotel – you can buy discounted tickets for the ‘Original’ Bus tours at our reception – they last 24hours and include boat and walking tours too.

To find out what is going on in London check out the copy of Time Out magazine in our Guest Lounge, our Facebook Page, the Londonist and Visit London websites. We also have a Tourist’s Tips book updated by our guests themselves.

We’re constantly adding more information for hotel guests on our Blog page, otherwise click below for info on:
