Reservations

To make a reservation please fill in the boxes above or call, email or fax us with your request and credit or debit card details. We do not require any payment from your card, but we do make a pre-authorisation. If you are using a debit card this pre-authorisation process temporarily suspends the amount of the first night’s charges and is then made available again, usually after a few days. This enables us to check if you have enough credit to pay for the first night’s accommodation. The pre-authorisation process can appear on your statement as a debit, but please be assured that it is not a payment. Alternatively, you can pay the first night’s charges into our bank account. We can send you an email with our bank details on request. Please be aware that bank transfers usually incur bank charges.

Cancellation Policy

We require 48 hours to change or cancel a confirmed reservation – you can do this by telephone, fax or email. In the event of a late cancellation or a no-show we will charge your card for the 1st night’s accommodation.

Breakfast

Breakfast is not included in our room rates, but the Bloomsbury Coffee House downstairs offers continental as well as English breakfast, lunch on weekdays and a wide range of coffee, tea and homemade snacks and cakes.

Payment

We accept cash and all major credit cards, but please note that there is a 1.5% service charge on all credit payments, and 50p for all debit card payments (these are the costs we incur from processing these transactions).

Group Bookings

We define a group as 5 or more rooms or 15 or more people. To make a group reservation we require the first night’s charges to be paid into our bank account. Once we receive this we can then confirm your reservation and allocate you rooms. We then require the outstanding balance to be paid in full at least one month before the arrival date. Once you have paid in full you can no longer cancel or change your group booking.

Check-in/Check-out times

Check-in time is after 14:00, but you are very welcome to arrive earlier and your leave your luggage with us and return later to check-in.

Check-out time is 11:00, but again you can leave your bags with us after you have checked-out.
